Yer, well don't make out like it was one sided and there won't be an issue.

Would you guys be interested in testing UAC2 out
Posted by Leader Elim from [FRU] on Thu 29 July 2010 18:00.
i will ask the lads. maybe not everyone will but i for one will use it instead of xray as xray is down atm
Posted by Leader TwinEgo from forsaKn. on Fri 30 July 2010 02:45.
Well they either use it or Xray, their choice.
Posted by Leader Elim from [FRU] on Fri 30 July 2010 09:25.
twinego. are you aware of the problem with xray atm ? if you are you will know some people cannot get it to work after the update like me for instance.. and uac isnt mandatory at this time.

On top of that for some users, UAC2 also uses a lot of RAM.
Posted by Leader TwinEgo from forsaKn. on Fri 30 July 2010 12:43.
UAC2 does not use a lot of ram, when you consider that the norm is 4gb and everyone I know with 4GB can run it. For both our upcoming matches you MUST run some anti cheat software, otherwise those members cannot play. We've had a few members in my team with shite computers complain about UAC2 causing problems. I fucked about a bit and found out the following:

If you go into Task Manager, set UAC2 to lowest priority with MW2 set to Highest priority, you should be fine. One guy in our team runs MW2 on a relic of a PC with UAC2 on and can now play fine thanks to this. Just be sure to do it when you launch UAC2 and NOT when you have entered the fixture and started the game. As then it causes UAC2 to minimize and fail to take any screens.

I'm not being a dick, I just won't play any clan (apart from once with GRSF - but I know them well) without anti-cheat. I am aware of xray and I won't play any more wars on edom until I can use UAC2 if I choose to. But there is little effort to using UAC2, you as an admin Elim should be encouraging people with this transition by doing it yourself.

Please try what I typed above, if that still fails then speak to me, as there are a couple of more things you can do.

twinego there is a problem with xray atm and uac2 is not mandatory so comments like can run it. For both our upcoming matches you MUST run some anti cheat software, otherwise those members cannot play ar incorrect
Posted by Leader TwinEgo from forsaKn. on Fri 30 July 2010 14:16.
No they are not completely incorrect, as I can refuse to play the match. We can play at a later date surely? I do not understand why it is so hard to do what the rest of the EU have been doing for 6 months now. Your team has had plenty of time to download this 6.8mb file. You are supposed to be trialling this anti-cheat software (this I don't understand either, two ladders much more popular than this are already using it), yet your team cannot be bothered to all install it and do what I have posted.

twinego if you shut the fuck up and think and read for one split second in your tiny mind.. i said in my 2nd comment.( i will ask the lads ) but they will not be told to use by a dickhead like you. some of our guys sorting yesterday and some have problems with it huge fps lag which we was going to try resolve today. if you dont want to play then forfeit and dont accept wars then start fucking whining at clans. i for one have had enough of you god only knows what the rest of the clans think of you who have shared their worry about you being in edom
Posted by Head Admin Murzo from [E-Dom] on Fri 30 July 2010 14:30.
Calm it down all of you. X-Ray is mandatory but as it is currently fubar it is not possible to enforce it. The position therefore is clans can play without X-Ray if agreed, or optionally can trial UAC2 if agreed.

If clans cannot agree to either then the result will be no A/C required for this match. I would suggest that those that can play with UAC2 do so. If people are running it and experience problems then the opposition should show restraint and be accommodating.

If this squabble continues after the match then sanctions will be imposed on one or both of the clans.

And any more of this squabbling just now will result in comments being locked.

thanks murzo. exactly what i was trying to point out

Fuck off Elim, what's with that abusive language? Twin was trying to help you, so why don't you shut the fuck up and do what he suggested, otherwise you're going to be stuck in this dead league

When will you people learn
Posted by Head Admin Murzo from [E-Dom] on Fri 30 July 2010 14:42.
This match is to be played without X-Ray or UAC being mandatory. Clans can chose to use UAC if desired but it is not mandatory.
